Kroos Farms is family owned and operated. We were established in 1956 when my Grandfather, Henry Kroos, moved his family from a farm a few miles north of Will Rogers Airport to Prague, OK. My father, George Kroos, went into partnership with him and now I am the 3rd Kroos generation to own this farm. We are a full time family farm consisting of myself, my wife, Kelly, and our two daughters, Jessica and Haley. We raise commercial Angus and Hereford cross cattle and registered Hereford cattle. We are a dry land farm growing mostly wheat and alfalfa. We sell bulls and replacement heifers annually by private treaty. We strive to use the best genetics available for seed stock by utilizing embryo transfer and artificial insemination within our program. We strive to have the best udder quality possible and do not milk cows out. We do not trim hooves for the life of the animal. If my daughters can't get in a pen with one of our animals, it goes to town!
